I have moved the entire WindowsNoEditor folder in an attempt to force Borderlands to recreate all settings therein. I have moved GameUserSettings.ini out of Documents\My Games\Borderlands 3\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor to force Borderlands 3 to create new settings. I have gone into Borderlands3.exe’s properties and set it to run as administrator, changed the high DP settings to “override,” and tried it in compatibility mode for Windows 7. I have disabled my firewall and antivirus. I have attempted to start the game immediately after a reboot. I have installed, unnistalled and reinstalled the UE4PrereqSetup_圆4.exe file in steamapps\common\Borderlands 3\Engine\Extras\Redist\en-us I have reinstalled the game again and verified game files Borderlands3.exe disappears from Task Mgr at the same time as the title card. Task Mgr shows Borderlands3.exe running under the Steam app when the title card appears. Here’s what happens:Ģ - A Steam window pops up saying “Preparing to Launch Borderlands 3”ģ - Steam window goes away, and the game shows as “Running.”Ĥ - The Borderlands 3 title card comes up for about a second, then goes away.

With the latest update, I uninstalled/reinstalled the game in the hopes that the startup crash would go away. The Steam version was always crashing on startup, requiring me to end Borderlands3.exe in Task Mgr, then start it up again. I uninstalled the Epic Games copy and installed it on Steam. I played for a few hours, then bought a copy at the Steam Store when it went on sale. I first installed Borderlands 3 for free from the Epic Store. I’m running Windows 10, Radeon RX580 Series video card. Hello! Okay, I have sent in a support ticket on this, but I figure I’ll write a more detailed description here.
